The Lilac Box 4 - August 2013

Woohoo~ Finally received my beauty box from TheLilacBox today! Once received I can't wait anymore to unbox it!  

They use GDex to deliver the parcel. Good! They claim to reach us the box by 19th October and it does =) 

TADAA~~!!! This is the Lilac Box!!

The box look so elegant with the Jimmy Choo ribbon attached on it. Very thick and good quality box, guess I can use it for other purpose :D  *LIKE*

Open up the Lilac box, it looks like this.. OMG... it's full of stuff inside. I'm so surprise that there's so many things inside this box! The first little thing that catches my eyes was that OPI nail color in there! It was a normal size @@.. which already cost more than this box... I felt SO WORTHY buying this!!!

Hmm.. WHAT!? "The 3 Guys from The Lilac Box" << Can't believe that this box is actually prepared by "GUYS"...amazing though hahaha!

Ok! Let's see what we have here!

Item #1 : OPI Nail Lacquer - Steady as she rose (15mL full-size) - Retail: RM63.00

Nail Color from OPI. Color : steady as she rose. The color is actually light purple like a blueberry yogurt but not like white color showing on the photo above. (My iphone4 camera problem..haha). Perhaps I could show some other samples photo from the internet for you girls to see the colour.

The nail color is look exactly like what shown in this picture.

Review : I personally don't like this color because the color looks dirty on my hand. (Cause my hand is very dark). And I would prefer sharp color like hot pink, chilli red, neon green but not healthy color like this.
But other than the color, I think this OPI nail color is very good. Easy to wear even for a beginner. Because the liquid will not become sticky like some other cheaper nail polish. The texture is smooth, and the color spread evenly. That's the reason made me a fan of OPI always! :D

Item #2 : Crabtree & Evelyn Tarocco Orange Ultra Moisturizing Hand Therapy  (25g tub) - Retail: RM48.00 for 50g

The intensive conditioning cream leaves hands feeling softer with each use. The Tarocco Orange, Eucalyptus & Sage Hand Therapy blends conditioning shea butter, moisturising macadamia nut oil and myrrh extract to help condition cuticles and nails. Vitamin C-rich Tarocco blood orange extract and skin-freshening eucalyptus and sage extracts moisturise and soothe hands. Time for some self-pampering.

Review : This Crabtree&Evelyn product always smells good from my experience. And this tarocco orange hand cream are the same also ^^ It smells very good like an orange! Tried some on my hand...Hands become smooth immediately as every hand cream did. The good things is it don't oily or sticky after a few seconds. It's been absorb very fast and I can continue do my work without sticking all the cream on my mouse.  ^^

Item #3 : Sothy's Hydradvance Ligh Hydrating Cream and Hydra-Nourushing Mask (15ml tub) - Retail: N/A

Review : For the Hydrating Cream, it smells something like Dermalogica product.. something like medication smells. I apply after my cleansing and toner. Maybe cause of the cream type, it make me feels a bit sticky on my face. So the next day I try to apply it another way.

 

I use the cotton pad to apply the toner, then flip and use the other side of the cotton pad to apply the cream. Like this the remaining toner will mix with the cream when you apply and the texture become more like water-based moisturizer. And it WORKS~ the cream don't feel like sticky on my face anymore. 

I have a T-zone super oily face, usually hydrating cream will make my face produce oil even faster. But this is not and I can feel my skin are so hydrated.

For the Masque, it says that apply a thick layer and leave it for 10 ~ 15 minutes. I'm a stingy one.. I apply not too thick layer, and leave it for the maximum time (15min). :D 

I love the smells! It's like strawberry yogurt applied on my face.. every breath also got the strawberry taste ^^ 

The texture is cream type just like the hydrating cream. But after apply on the face, it become a layer of transparent gel on my face.

After I washed off the masque, my skin are so refresh. And I can see the face has brighten  up. (maybe too much of dirt or dead cells before apply hahaha #^_^#). I apply it at night, the next day I felt my face was not that oily.. was not bad for controlling the oil huh.. Great!

Item #4 : L'Oreal Professionnel Mademoiselle Infinium & Liss Ultime Shampoo/Masque (100ml spray / 100ml bottle / 75ml jar) - Retail: Infinium-RM40 for 300ml / Shampoo-RM50 for 250ml / Maskque-RM67 for 200ml

Review : I've try to open the cap, it smells good :) Guess this will be a good product for me to try on as I have damaged hair~ Hope it can cure my split ends hair T____T

Shampoo: Smells good :) I only wash my hair with this shampoo without conditioner, but it feels like conditioned hair~ My damage splits end looks healthier after wash and leave it air dry. Pretty good :) but what I don't like is the shampoo doesn't make much bubbles, (I like bubbles)...no bubbles make me feels like my hair are not washed >_<... Then I need to use a lot shampoo to make more bubbles... kinda wasted~~

Item #5 : Jimmy Choo Flash (2ml spray) - Retail: N/A

It's the fragrance for the party girl in all of us! FLASH is a white floral with a character that is effervescent, carnal and provocative. Review : I like the smell ! It smells sweet ..and.. hmm... not too light not too heavy. it just nice ~ Spray once on my wrist at 6 hours ago.. after working for so many hours, the smell last till now =D Fresh my day in boring working hour~

Never forget to take a group photo~! Hahaha~ So satisfy for The Lilac Box 4 ! Although its not cheap...(RM50) compared to other beauty box, but it still very worthy as it comes with luxury brand product. Thank you very much "The Lilac Box" !!!!
